Dear Musicians,
we are thrilled to have you on board for the remarkable “Sounds of Change” EU project & Ljubljana International Orchestra Academy.This initiative celebrates the power of music while promoting sustainability and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. Together, we aim to create a symphony of positive change that resonates across borders.
Within the framework of the EU-project Sounds of Change, we will provide you with travel, accommodation and sustenance.

Your accommodation and sustenance
The following applies to the participating musicians residing at Neu Residences for LIO academy activities. Participating musicians who are not residing at Neu Residences are invited to lunch only.
You will be accommodated In the centre of Ljubljana at Neu Residences – a Smart Stay residence that focuses on the overall
well-being of their guests. At Neu Residences, you will be sharing a room with at most 3 further academy participants. Together, we hope you will create new and long-lasting relationships, not just as musicians, but also as friends.
You will also get breakfast, lunch and dinner, including on the evening of your arrival (25.08.2023) and breakfast on the day of your departure (01.09.2023). You will receive meal vouchers that you must redeem.
Any additional meals, snacks and beverages are your personal costs.

Arrival in Munich 25.08.2023
A bus is organised to pick you up at Munich airport and will bring you directly to your accommodation in Ljubljana.
Those traveling with plane will be added to a new Whatsapp Group “LIO 23 – FLIGHTS”, in which further communication concerning travel can be communicated, including exact pick-up locations and times.
Participating musicians have been provided with their flight tickets, the costs are covered by the project, Sounds of Change.
Departure from Munich 01.09.2023
A bus is organised to pick you up at your accommodation in Ljubljana and will bring you directly to Munich airport.
Those traveling with plane will be added to a new Whatsapp Group “LIO 23 – FLIGHTS”, in which further communication concerning travel can be communicated, including exact pick-up locations and times.
Participating musicians have been provided with their flight tickets, the costs are covered by the project, Sounds of Change.
Information for musicians traveling via train
Arrival in Venice 25.08.2023
A bus is organised to pick you up in Venice and will bring you directly to your accommodation in Ljubljana.
Those traveling with train have already been issued 7-day travel passes from Eurail/Interrail. An email containing further steps on how to plan your travel route is in your inbox. Please make sure to check your Junk/Spam and Other folders.
Note: The 7-day travel pass are for your travel to Ljubljana to attend LIO academy. Any travel days left after the closing of the academy you are free to use. The project is not obliged to cover any further travel costs outside of the 7-day travel pass.
Further communication concerning travel, including exact pick-up locations and times, will be communicated via the Whatsapp Group, “LIO 23 – TRAIN”.

Information for musicians traveling via bus
Departure from Novi Sad 25.08.2023, 11:30 am
A bus is organised to pick you up in front of the Novi Sad train station and will bring you directly to your accommodation in Ljubljana. Musicians travelling from Belgrade are to purchase the “Coko-train ticket” and will be reimbursed by us upon their arrival in Ljubljana.
Further communication concerning travel, including exact pick-up locations and times, will be communicated via the Whatsapp Group, “LIO 23 – SERBIA”.
Departure from Ljubljana 01.09.2023
A bus is organised to pick you up at your accommodation in Ljubljana and will bring you directly to Novi Sad train station.
