EU PROJECTS
Since 2016, the European Career Center for Artists Triple Bridge has been constantly involved in cooperation projects of Creative Europe programmes. In partnership with many renowned institutions such as Národní divadlo Brno, Berkley Valencia Campus, L’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Rome, The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orchestre National de Lille, Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Festival Ljubljana, St. John’s Smith Square London and others, we have developed and established programmes for capacity building and mobility of emerging artists. Triple Bridge is the upgrade of the past national and international projects and cross-border cooperation generated by the Association BSA – Be Successful Artist.
We see TRIPLE BRIDGE as the bridge over the challenging water that
- generates forms of passing knowledge from professionals that cater to the career development of young artists,
- opens up opportunities for competitive performance in the contemporary market,
- gives competence and confidence for independent career paths,
- believes that every talented artist deserves a successful career,
- supports the international mobility of artists and artworks,
- affects new audiences development, cultural tourism and cultural diplomacy,
- supports Intercultural Dialogue,
- supports Diversity and Inclusivity,
- uses music as a tool for diverse programmes to enlighten and improve social, political, and environmental issues.
Sounds of Change EU Cooperation Project (2022 – 2026)
Sounds of Change aims to promote the arts as a tool to challenge the new generations to think about the future of Europe, supporting the sustainable evolution of a society united in diversity that faces new concerns with the city’s sustainable planning and the Environment. The participants and the partners’ teams will understand the differences between European regions, focusing on the multiple faces of the European identity, active citizenship, and the sense of belonging to a large European community with common goals and concerns. The arts will be a dynamic tool for social transformation through interpersonal sharing, training, and personal evolution. The participants will develop new musical compositions and multidisciplinary performative outputs, giving extra layers to the orchestral dimension.
The thematic focus is the European dimension and the environmental priorities (green planning/touring) and social transformation by the arts, recognising European values and artistic work as tools for change.
Music up close network EU Cooperation Project (2016 – 2019)
MUSIC UP CLOSE NETWORK – connecting orchestral music to young audiences was a multi-annual cooperation project. The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia was the promoter and coordinator of a network with other prestigious European Orchestras and other organisations for training and international artistic mobility. The participating institutions considered this initiative as a pilot cooperation network to experiment and share new strategies and approaches to connect orchestral music with youth audiences.
The project aimed to carry out activities that primarily responded to the following priorities:
- Cooperating with some of the best European Orchestras, such as the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Lille, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra and the Ljubljana International Orchestra to commission new orchestral works by living composers and supporting works and artists on a European and international level.
- Developing and sharing new strategies to reach young audiences, particularly with some of the Balkan countries such as Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, promoting musical co-productions with innovative formats, involving youth orchestral ensembles also using digital technologies and other forms of art.
- Enabling professional training and education initiatives for young musicians to acquire skills to operate on an international level through the Professional Orchestral Training and Music Management Programme in collaboration with ART BSA in Ljubljana. The programme offered to internationally selected young musical talents was created for them to acquire artistic experiences in a stimulating environment. The Work Experience Exchange Programme was also implemented to provide professionals with “professional experiences” in other European orchestral institutions and share their methodologies.
MUSIC UP CLOSE NETWORK was promoted by an international partnership that worked with Regional and National Authorities to access European funds that not only strengthened but also made International Networking sustainable in the long term.
Finally, the use of a common digital communication platform increased access to orchestral works for young audiences. The digital platform was able to reach specific European geographic areas through web streaming, social networks and other multimedia tools made available by the European Partnership.
The project started in June 2016 and ended in December 2019.
