ORCHESTRA SUMMER CAMP
Orchestra summer camp is about socializing and creating in music, being enthusiastic about music and the arts in general, weaving friendly bonds and an environment of progress. In it, young people take their talents to perfection and at the same time learn a variety of musical and personal paths. But that’s not all. We will also encourage young people to transfer their skills and experience to other teenage musicians and inspire them to learn how to take responsibility. It is a starting point for developing a team spirit that will encourage young participants to grow into confident future leaders of their generation. Being part of such an orchestra is truly an experience of a lifetime.
Participants participate in an intensive music program with sectional rehearsals, group rehearsals, orchestra rehearsals and chamber music. The music rehearsals will be organised under the mentorship of renowned musicians and former participants in our international activities. Other activities of the participants are sports, sightseeing and cultural activities in Ljubljana and other cities. Participants also attend art workshops such as learning circus skills for better concentration, a theatre improvisation workshop for a relaxed and sovereign performance, a singing workshop for freeing expressivity, a dance workshop for a strong presence and confidence in yourself, a music workshop for the guitar for the basics improvisation and playing basic chords, painting workshops to encourage creativity. They are all under the mentoring of animators – professional associates.
We organize art workshops in cooperation with the Pioneer Center – Center for Youth Culture. Each participant chooses their favourite at applying. The contents are designed to enhance your musical knowledge and your musical path, broaden your horizons and become more confident.

Otroci so se sodeč po pripovedovanju Katje imeli res lepo, doživeli in videli veliko novega, poleg tega so se med njimi spletla številna nova prijateljstva. Res ste se potrudili, zato so se tudi oni. Rezultata smo bili deležni vsi. Srčno upamo, da koncert v tej zasedbi ni bil zadnji in da bo ta prelepa zgodba in druženje dobilo svoje nadaljevanje … „
„Težko se z besedami opiše ta zanos vsakega posameznega mladega in malo manj mladega glasbenika, ki se na koncu zlijejo v eno samo glasbeno celoto. Z eno besedo, bili ste več kot ODLIČNI in ob tem, vsem, ki se trudite, da otroci pridobivajo izkušnje in znanje, en neskončni HVALA!“
„Čestitke tudi za to, da ste iz teh mladih uspeli izvabiti toliko muzike in jim omogočili to čudovito izkušnjo v življenju.Hvala vam za priložnost našim otrokom! Eva je uživala vsako sekundo vašega druženja in mi je včeraj rekla, da ji je žal, da je že konec. O tej dogodivščini se bomo doma še dolgo pogovarjali.“
»Kar nekaj časa sem razmišljala in prebirala tistih par odstavkov na vse mogoče načine, za mnenje sem vprašala tudi profesorja. Na koncu sem se vendarle odločila in prijavila na orkestrski kamp v Ljubljano. Zdaj vem, da je bila to ena mojih boljših odločitev.«
