The staged concert Songs of wars I have seen was put on stage and performed by members of Ljubljana International Orchestra with conductor Živa Ploj Peršuh. It was implemented within project Music up close network – Jump Start that provides talented young musicians with an international training residency of the highest artistic calibre. In the year 2019 musicians came from Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Japan, South Korea. In partnership with EU project (Creative Europe) Music Up Close Network and European Career Center for artists Triple Bridge, the project offers young musicians from around Europe and beyond the opportunity to benefit from unique musical experiences with renowned musicians. In summer 2019 they met and worked with composer and director Heiner Goebbels. He is one of the great innovators in the world of theatre, multimedia and performance art. As composer and director, he belongs to the most important exponents of the contemporary music and theatre scene. His compositions for ensembles and big orchestras published by Ricordi Berlin are currently performed worldwide as well as several of his music theatre works and staged concerts, mostly produced by Théâtre Vidy Lausanne, the Ensemble Modern and Ruhrtriennale – International Festival of the Arts RUHRTRIENNALE. He created a great variety of sound and video installations, which have been displayed by Artangel London, MAC Lyon, Museum Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt, Albertinum Dresden a.o. We performed his work Songs of wars I have seen as part of Ljubljana Festival in the National Theatre Opera and ballet Ljubljana.
