All 65 #SMO POK musicians attended the rehearsals from December 6 to 10, 2019. To prepare as many as three concerts in the eminent Gallus Hall of the Cankar Centre, the orchestra has regained full strength. The rehearsals were very intense, for a total of 19 hours without concerts. Additional activities this time took the form of tours to discover and see important institutions. On Monday, we took a look at RTV Slovenia from the inside. We were in different studios, we peeked in at the studio where the show Good Morning was live, we met Slovenian TV-Star Mario Galunič and more. We also went to the Slovenian Philharmonic, where we saw both halls, learned how to become a musician of this famous institution and attended the rehearsal of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. Great experience and according to our young people, great motivation for concerts. A bit more leisurely, but no less fun, was the ride on the Urban tourist train through Ljubljana. Of course, the most important were concerts, and we devoted the most thought and energy to it.

“We did something great and good again” after the last concert in Cankarjev dom, Vlado Kreslin hugged conductor Živa Ploj Peršuh, who guided the young people through the challenging program on stage as well as in all the preparations.
