ORCHESTRA SUMMER CAMP

Orchestra Summer Camp is designed to inspire young people to play music of all forms and genres. In the form of an active musical holiday it is open to all young performers of suitable age, who wish to participate in the orchestra, to experience the formation of a large ensemble and to participate in other activities aimed at enhancing their confidence and successful performance and confidence in themselves.

Our activities are organised to support young people’s knowledge and experience gained in music schools, to enrich them, give them a different perspective and deepen them. Young people thus live up to their full potential on stage and learn to use it in a group that is new to their work environment. This is why music workshops with instrumental or orchestral group tutors are the most important here. Furthermore, art workshops open up the spectrum of other arts and skills are being pursued better personal work in a group, for independence and self-confidence, for a peer-to-peer relationship. Our success depends on close cooperation and trust among young people. Only in this way we can be excited about music and excite our audience and peers.
