ANNOUNCEMENT: OPEN CALL FOR THE UKRAINIAN MUSICIANS IN NEED, NOW OPEN
Music For The Future has announced a one-year emergency residency programme for Ukrainian musicians who are in Ukraine or who have relocated to Europe due to the full-scale war that started on February 24. On the initiative of the Slovenian Youth Orchestra and European Career Center for Artists, Triple Bridge, the Ukrainian musicians participating in the Music For The Future project will be relocated to a safe environment in Slovenia, where they will be provided with opportunities to stay musically active and further develop their professional careers, for which the collective will be embraced as a chamber orchestra. The project organises music activities such as rehearsals, career enhancing workshops, concert performances and networking opportunities side-by-side with European musicians, soloists, and conductors, to build opportunities for EU integration, focusing on European values and the presentation of their Ukrainian heritage.
