CALL FOR COMPOSERS SLOVENIA 2023
Sounds of Change, a Creative Europe Project supported by the European Union, is announcing the Call for Composers.
The winning work will be premiered at the final concert of the Orchestral Academy that will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2023.
Sounds of Change challenges emerging European composers with the creation of a new musical piece based on the values of Europe and the local music identity of the hosting places, while keeping in mind the limited availability of adequate venues and performance possibilities. The composer selected by the Artistic Board of Sounds of Change, will have their composition performed live by the musicians participating in the Ljubljana International Orchestra, selected for the Sounds of Change’ first Orchestra Academy open call 2023.
